Unveil Your Timeless Beauty with a “Vampire Facial”
The PRP vampire facial, also known as the “vampire facial,” combines micro-needling with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy to rejuvenate the skin. During the procedure, the skin is first micro-needled, creating tiny channels to enhance the absorption of PRP. PRP, derived from the patient’s own blood, is then applied topically or injected into the treated areas. The growth factors and proteins in PRP are believed to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and promote a youthful appearance by reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. The vampire facial is favored for its natural and personalized approach, tailored to enhance skin tone and texture effectively.
What can I expect during and after a vampire facial treatment?
During a vampire facial treatment, you can expect the following steps:
- Blood Collection: A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm, similar to a routine blood test.
- PRP Separation: The blood sample is then spun in a centrifuge machine to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from other components of the blood.
- Microneedling: Your skin will be prepped and numbed, and a microneedling device will be used to create tiny micro-injuries in the skin’s surface.
- PRP Application: The PRP is applied to your skin or injected into specific areas of concern.
How does a vampire facial work?
A vampire facial combines microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy to rejuvenate the skin. During the procedure, a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient’s arm and spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Next, a microneedling device is used to create tiny micro-injuries in the skin’s surface, stimulating the skin’s natural healing process. Finally, the PRP is applied to the skin or injected into specific areas, promoting collagen production, tissue repair, and overall skin rejuvenation.
